David's passion for photography started on a hot summer day in 1978. As a gift on his ninth birthday, he received his very first camera, a Polaroid Instant Camera. This camera had bubble light bulbs and a package of instant film.
David still has some of those instant pictures he took on that hot August day because they tell a story. They are a snapshot in time. They represent his memory of celebrating his birthday with family and friends - in that moment.
Fast forward decades to today where camera technology and digital photo editing tools have dramatically changed photography. Gone are the days of waving an instant square polaroid image in the air while it develops right before your very eyes. Presto!
